About
One in every four people experience mental health problems at some point in their lives. Mental Health issues in the UK alone lead to nearly 17.6 million days of sick leave and are a growing problem affecting the quality of life of millions of people in the UK. Early diagnosis or recognition combined with the appropriate support and treatment is critical in responding to this rise. The aim of the Level 2 Award in Mental Health Awareness is to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills required to recognise and support someone suffering from a mental health problem, whether in the work place, at home or in the community. The qualification will provide you the ability to recognise and respond to the signs of mental ill health in both yourself and others, as well provide mental health first aid, using the knowledge gained.
The course can be completed on our unique blended learning option. This totally flexible education experience allows you to tailor learning around your schedule, combining home study, online learning and practical workshops over a bespoke period of time.
